Became an extrememely important and popular member of the team. Capable of playing at left or central of defence, he spent the next few months having trials or short spells at a number of clubs, including Swindon Town, Exeter City, Western-Super-Mare and Farnborough Town.
In a bid to win over fans, new boss Kevin Wilson made Alex one of his first signings in October 2004, but sadly his return was not a successful one. Unable to force his way into the Aylesbury team, his last full game was in the Bryco Cup at Basingstoke Town.
Had a spell at Yeading, where he was a part of their successful side which reached the FA Cup 3rd Round and won the 2004/05 Ryman League Championship.
