Began his career at Peterfield United, and scored a hat-trick on his Aylesbury debut. Went on to have a long career in the game, becoming a potent goalscorer for the likes of Rushden & Diamonds and Kettering Town.

His last game for Aylesbury saw him depart on a goalscoring note, netting against Wivenhoe Town in December 1992, before moving to Enfield in a player-swap deal for Graham Westley.
