The Ducks started brightly creating chances from the kick off. Gemma Franklin and Suzie Cole both went close inside the opening minutes.
Playing against a strong wind Aylesbury had to be patient and defend resolutely as the Wiltshire side won a succession of corners but the home defence held firm.
Leigh Reed came closest to opening the scoring early on with a vicious half volley which was met by an equally stupendous save, before United finally got their noses in front with a classic goal.
Skipper Gemma Franklin picked up the ball just outside her own penalty area then dribbled the full length of the pitch, taking on several players, before exquisitely lobbing the on rushing keeper to score her seventh goal of the campaign.
Sarah Cole then went close before her sister doubled the Ducks advantage seven minutes later, Cole senior also lobbing the visiting keeper.
With the wind at their backs in the second period United pressed for further goals and Beth Harris nearly forced an own goal when her powerful cross was almost turned in at the near post.
Twinkle Dean sent Franklin clear but the keeper this time thwarted the tricky midfielder and Beanie Cameron set up Dean to fire just wide.
The visitors resistance finally faltered with twenty minutes remaining as Suzie Cole's corner was turned in by the impressive Leigh Reed.
United had several late chances, with Kay Norton and Beth Harris going close and in the last minute player of the match Lucy Ilic shot just wide from an inswinging corner.
A competent victory and importantly a clean sheet which will set the Aylesbury side in good frame of mind ahead of their top of the table clash with Maidenhead in their next match.
