Started out with Aylesbury FC and having also had a spell with Kempston Rovers, has plenty of Southern League experience with over 100 appearances to his name, despite his relatively young age. Ty has also featured for Buckingham Athletic and Leighton Town, and started the campaign in good goalscoring form at Winslow United before his move to the Ducks.
Following two campaigns badly affected the Covid pandemic, Ty started the 2021/22 season in hot form and - after 11 goals in 16 games - soon began attracting the attentions of higher level clubs. In November he accepted an offer from AFC Rushden & Diamonds and made the step up to Southern League Premier Division level before later moving up again to Kettering Town.
